Thanks for taking a look at the Toyota Bandeirante. We can be reached by email or telephone at 336-852-5852. Additional photos can be seen on our website www.myautofocus.com. A Carfax report is not available. The Toyota Bandeirante is essentially a Brazilian domestic market Land Cruiser built from 1962-2001. They were available in several configurations including the OJ55 double cab pickup as seen here. Up until 1994 Bandeirantes were powered by durable, efficient, Mercedes 4 cylinder Diesel engines. This truck is equipped with the standard, naturally aspirated 4.0L OM364 engine. Bandeirantes were not exported. They were designed for and intended for use in Brazil, clearly for more rugged conditions. This example was imported to the US some time in 2022-2023 after having been reconditioned in Brazil. The current owners purchased it in Florida earlier this year. They really like the Bandeirante but unfortunately it doesn't do what they need it do. Yes, it will likely go anywhere, just not fast. The previous seller's public statement that the truck will travel at 75-80mph is an exaggeration. 50-55mph is more accurate. So while not a highway vehicle, this truck is still plenty capable and useful in the right setting. It would be ideal for a business that needs a cool looking vintage truck for off road or off highway use such as a hotel, lodge, winery, wedding venue, farm, orchard, boat yard etc. It would also be great in a small town. This Toyota is in good mechanical condition. It runs well and everything works including the retrofitted A/C. Our preparation for sale included replacement of the windshield wiper motor, fixing some wiring, cleaning out the fuel tank, correcting the throttle linkage, replacing the parking brake cable, making new keys, having the front driveshaft rebuilt, oil change, etc. New tires were installed in March of this year. This classic Toyota has current registration, a clean NC title and is ready for the next owner to enjoy. Please contact
